Doctors of
Optometry are health care providers who specialize in the
examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and
disorders of the eye and visual system. They can prescribe
medications for ocular infection, inflammation, trauma and eye
diseases such as glaucoma. Systemic diseases, such as diabetes and
hypertension, can have ocular complications which can be monitored
by optometrists. They also fit eyeglasses and contact lenses,
keeping in mind that your vision and comfort are vital to your work,
home and active lifestyles. As eye-care specialists, our providers
treat urgent and ongoing visual healthcare for your entire family.
